- DE is usually used as solvent for nitrocellulose, acetate fiber, synthetic resin, paint.
- It is used as coloring agent, stabilizer of emulsion, printing ink and vitamin B12 refine solvent in leather industry.
- It is used as painting diluents, paint deleting agent and the raw material of making spray paint in coating industry.
